Senior Electronics Engineer - Defence - Hertfordshire

A Senior Electronics Engineer is required for this world leader in missiles and missile systems to undertake a broad range of electronic design including negotiation of technical requirements, creating detailed circuit designs whilst providing all relevant design documentation.
Key Responsibilities and Desirable Attributes
- An understanding of the design of Xilinx FPGA devices (including SoC configurations), in particular Virtex 2 pro, 4 and 5
- Design of digital electronics including Microprocessor
- Design of analogue electronics
- Design of power electronics
- Derivation of circuit architectures from system requirement inputs
- Competence in the use of CAD design tools
Our client is seeking a degree qualified engineer with experience in the field of electronics design. Attractive salary plus benefits depending on experience applicants must be security cleared or be eligible to obtain security clearance.
