A new role for an AFTERMARKET INTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE has been created to support the customer base and outside sales.
You will work directly with customers providing timely and accurate responses to enquiries and requests for quotations. In addition you will help maintain and develop new and existing customers using appropriate professional sales techniques.
Ideally you will be qualified to degree level with around 2 years related experience preferably within an aerospace related industry. You should have a confident outgoing telephone manner supported by strong IT skills.

They are looking to appoint a UK Sales Engineer to manage UK accounts from a commercial and engineering perspective

The role will cover:

Managing accounts for UK customers

Visit customers to discuss possible projects and developments to the software

Develop and deliver customer sales presentations

Write proposals with support from technical specialists

Liaise with customers to report project progress/issues etc.

Liaise with customers on usage of proprietory software

Liaise with technical teams to ensure consistent communication

Arrange regular updates to customers through roadshows/workshops/seminars within market segments

Support the Global Sales Director in identifying suitable business development opportunities

Track upcoming and ongoing global projects

Manage weekly sales/engineering meetings

Undertake engineering projects for UK customers with the support of technical specialists

Qualifications and Specific Technical Skills

2.1 Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, perhaps post-graduate qualified. Ideally chartered status.

Familiar with the design of modern vehicle transmissions

Ideally competent in RomaxDesigner

Ideally competent in the design and analysis of transmission components

Key Competencies/Experience

Typically 3-6 years experience

Excellent communication skills at all levels

Experience of sales forecasting and planning

Experience of consultative selling

Project management experience

Knowledge of IT, hardware and software

An opportunity has arisen for mechanical engineering graduates with ones years practical experience to join the engineering department.
You will receive thorough training in the fields aerospace structures, stress, finite element analysis (FEA) and mathematical modelling on components and assemblies for safety critical mechanical systems.
You will have at least a 2.2 honours degree in Mechanical Engineering or Maths or Physics. Knowledge and 1 year experience of aerospace structures and/or FEA packages is ideally required. Due to some of the work being of a defence nature, only EU nationals can be considered.
