Reliability Engineer

A World Leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection Equipment are now looking for a Reliability Engineer to be based in either Park Royal, London or Gloucestershire depending on the successful candidate s preference.

The main focus on the role will be to co-ordinate on a day to day basis the validation activities and actions of the Product Team.
The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Lead a product validation process, in order to demonstrate that products are safe, reliable and fit for purpose.
Develop durability tests, define rig and sample requirements in cooperation with the product development team.
Provide technical support on analysing failures.
Evaluate product life expectancy and reliability (Weibull / life data analysis).
Support the Product Team Leader with regard to customer queries on reliability matters and project updates.
Support the continuous improvement of validation processes.
Ensure adherence to quality control plans. i.e. QS9000.
Contribute and participate in Total Quality activity to promote an environment of continuous improvement.
Develop, implement and ensure a safe working environment with full compliance to relevant legislation.
The successful candidate will be qualified to a 2:1 degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.

Must have solid experience in a validation engineering environment with the ability to direct and support a team of people.
Enjoy a fast paced and sometimes pressurized environment with a genuine interest and enjoyment in engineering and resolving technical problems.

Must be able to demonstrate presentation, communication and inter-personal skills and be confident and comfortable dealing with national and international customers.
