Quality Manager

This global leader engineers and manufactures complex mechanical systems for civil and defence programmes. A new opportunity has arisen for a permanent Quality Manager in Wolverhampton overseeing the NAVS business (Nacelle Actuation Value Stream).
Responsible for the effective management of the NAVS Value Stream Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure the system is established, maintained and improved upon. You will be the Voice of the Customer advocate within the Value Stream. A key internal consultant to the leadership of the business on all Quality matters. Directs daily Quality staff functions such as NPI Quality staff, OE manufacturing, assembly and test . Manages the daily activities of the functional Quality organization. Daily interface with Programme, Engineering and operations staff on Quality matters.
You are likely to be degree qualified and have experience of operations leadership roles including experience in Quality leadership. A strong background in QMS and application of measurement, analysis and CI tools. Demonstrated problem solving skills, RCCA. Conversant with AS 9100 would be a bonus. Ability to lead projects, development and mentor. There will be travel opportunities across European or US sites. Your quality experience could be in aerospace, automotive, medical, pharmaceutical or a precision engineering sector.
