NPI and Transfers Quality Lead

This global leader engineers and manufactures complex mechanical systems for civil and defence programmes. A new opportunity has arisen for a permanent NPI and Transfers Quality Lead based in Wolverhampton or in France.
Specific focus on developing and supporting implementation of quality assurance in New Product Introduction processes.
You will ensure co-ordination of actions required between the Sites NPI Quality Assurance teams Value Streams Leadership and the programs director. You will ensure implementation and compliant execution of the NPI quality assurance processes across value streams at all sites.
Expert of APQP techniques and tools, you will assure training and coaching of relevant teams in APQP / DFSS techniques.
Degree qualified in appropriate discipline (Engineering / science / technology), you will have experience in quality, engineering or production with significant experience in APQP / DFSS and D/PFMEA. You will understand all aspects of New Product Introduction processes. You will be analytical, understand problem solving methods, i.e.. 8D, root cause analysis and the associated statistical tools used to analyse problems. You will train others in Quality Management Systems such as AS/EN9100 or ISO/TS 16949. Ideally you will be a Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt. Your quality experience could be in aerospace,automotive,medical, pharmaceutical or a precision engineering sector.
