Quality Inspector/CMM Operator

£20k - 25k per year + + benefits
The company is a leading international development partner to the automobile and engine industry. They are going through a period of major growth and are looking to hire additional Quality Inspectors/CMM Operators to ensure the quality of the products is guaranteed.
Carry out CMM inspection of the product at all different production stages. Record any quality issues during the shift covered and report to Quality Enginers Support with gauge / inspection issues and report back to Quality Technicians/Quality Engineers on the issue Carry out final inspection checks once per shift Carry out any other duties deemed necessary Adhere to health and safety / environmental statutory and company rules and regulations. Act in a safe manner on all the above activities in line with the company's safety policy Qualifications GCSE passes at Grade C or above in Maths, English and Physics or equivalent are desirable Institute of Quality Assurance qualifications would be desirable.
Experience Experience within an automotive industry Use / programming of Co-ordinate Measuring Machines Experience within a Metrology environment. An understanding and awareness of quality practises Experience in the use of general metrology equipment in the form of roundness tester, optical projector, surface finish tester, mercer air gauging and small gauges such as external / internal micrometers, depth micrometers, comparators etc..
