Lead Product Manager/Programme Manager

A world leader in complete, advanced technology propeller systems, our clients all composite bladed, electronically controlled propeller systems have been selected for over 80% of the major turboprop aircraft in the last 10 years, and they are working with internationally renowned aircraft manufacturers on many key programmes. This permanent Project Manager or Programme Manager opportunity is based near Gloucester.
In this role you will utilise your experience or expertise to solve problems and execute objectives to meet business goals.
You will provide leadership and technical direction to a multi-skilled team and liaise with customers on programme reviews.
You will manage risk and utilise Earned Value Analysis methods and provide leadership to the Programme team. You will manage the budget on these military programmes and support process efficiencies.
You will very likely have a degree and significant experience in aerospace programme management with demonstrable success in leading multi-disciplined engineering teams or programmes. Risk management experience is useful. Experience in aerospace or defence sectors is required. It would be ideal if you had some after market, legacy programmes or product support experience but this is not essential.
