The processes of this company are state of the art plastic blow moulding and system assembly, producing products which include fuel tanks, fuel pipes, expansion tanks and air ducts for Just-In-Time supply to Honda, Jaguar, BMW, Rolls-Royce and MG Rover.
You will develop and implement all facets of APQP activities including FMEA`s, control plans and PSW s well as establishing requirements for ongoing capability monitoring and SPC. You will be able to carry internal and customer RandR studies for process and gauge trials, using the KUL design and process scorecard. You will conduct both internal and supplier audits to ensure adherence to procedure and to co-ordinate necessary corrective actions. You wil raise and implement corrective action programmes encompassing customer, supplier and internal quality concerns. You will have the ability to be able to compile internal and external reports and issue sample reports and corrective action plans. You will communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and internal personnel both at senior and shop floor level and will be able to compile the customer PPAP documentation and submission to customer.
Qualified to a minimum HNC/HND in mechanical Engineering, you will have an understanding of the process of plastic materials. You will have a minimum of 2-5 years project management/engineering experience and be organised to be able to cope with multiple tasks and priorities in a fast moving automotive environment and with a high commitment to quality. You will be conversant with automotive quality standards.
