This global leader engineers and manufactures complex mechanical systems for civil and defence programmes. A new opportunity has arisen for a permanent Customer Focused Improvement Lead to be based in Wolverhampton or France

Specific focus on co-ordinating and leading the process excellence strategy and customer focused improvement initiatives. You will support the definition and communication of the process excellence journey, an essential part of the "Fastest Improver and achieve Perfect Quality" strategy. You will be the owner of the customer focused improvement plans process and will co-ordinate process improvement projects. You will monitor key customers satisfaction and provide feedback to the leadership team. You will support the introduction of a 6 sigma culture. You will develop a thriving process improvement community that will combine lean expertise with 6 sigma to continuously aim at perfect quality.

You will ideally be degree qualified in an appropriate discipline (engineering / science / technology) and will have experience in production, quality, engineering with significant experience delivering improvements projects using 6 Sigma. You will be 6 Sigma Black Belt accredited or near accreditation. You will have the ability to train, coach and mentor at all levels of the organisation with the ability to lead major projects or several smaller projects simultaneously. You will have the ability to conceive, produce and deliver significant presentations to high level. Your quality experience could be in aerospace, automotive, medical, pharmaceutical or a precision engineering sector.
