Aftermarket Quality Manager

This global leader engineers and manufactures complex mechanical systems for civil and defence programmes. A new opportunity has arisen for a permanent Aftermarket Quality Manager in Wolverhampton.
You will be responsible for the effective management of the Aftermarket Value Stream Quality Management system (QMS) to ensure system is established, maintained and improved. A functional leadership role in product and process compliance to ensure safe and reliable products. A key internal consultant to the leadership of the business on all Quality matters. You will direct daily Quality staff functions such as NPI Quality staff, OE manufacturing, assembly and test. Accountable for QMS compliance within the Value Stream. Manages the daily activities of the functional Quality organization ensuring adequate resources are in place.
You will likely be degree qualified and have a quality leadership and preferably operations leadership background. You will have a strong background in QMS and the application of measurement, analysis and CI(Continuous Improvement) tools. You will likely be degree qualified. Your quality experience could be in aerospace, automotive, medical, pharmaceutical or a precision engineering sector.
