Position Description:
Our Client requires experienced electronics design engineers to apply world class design and analysis skills to improve our clients capability to deliver in-house electronic designs and to intensively review the designs of our suppliers.
The objective is to deliver levels of reliability and robustness exceeding anything that we have seen before. Arrival of the right people will immediately provide input into elimination of defects on new models through to 2017 and to accelerate progress on in house designs for future model years.

Skills Required:
This will require people with design skills in switch mode power supplies, power switching, microcontrollers, memories, high speed network interfaces, RF design, analogue and digital circuit design, EMC.
The successful candidate will need to have a good appreciation of design for the automotive environment. An appreciation of system level issues and software is required.

Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of C, assembler and the software development cycle (preferred but not necessary for candidates with otherwise good skills).

Experience Required:
The successful candidate will have designed the hardware for more than one electronic product, at least one of which was for a vehicle application and will have experienced putting the design into production. He / she will have a wide knowledge of electronic devices and circuits and their application, including power devices, microcontrollers, switch mode power supplies, RF circuits, analogue and digital circuits and design for EMC.
You will probably be regarded by colleagues as the person they consult when they have design issues. Those who do not have the above skills must not apply.

Education Required:
-The candidate will probably have a degree in electronics.

Responsible for the engine design process of components from concept to production in order to achieve the product objectives within a specified time.

The design engineer will have,
- Worked in engine design or transmission design.
- Establishes a reasonable project development schedule from concept to production implementation in line with overall business requirements.
- Supports all design related component styling, purchasing and manufacturing issues with emphasis on quality, reliability, timely delivery, and cost.
- Prepares preliminary sketches and/or schematic diagrams and/or presentations to aid in the understanding and solution of engineering problems.

SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3 years minimum related design experience in an O.E. Environment
- Required-extensive experience (5,000 hours minimum) Pro-Engineer
- Experience with one or more of the following vehicle design categories: Engines and associated systems (induction, exhaust, cooling),

A degree qualified Calibration Engineer is required for this leading automotive engineering company based in West London.

The Calibration Engineer will be a member of the team responsible for OBD and rail pressure control calibration development, planning and execution of dyno and vehicle test programmes to confirm and calibrate fuel injection equipment and engine management systems.
Engine dyno and vehicle calibration activities to deliver rail pressure control and related OBD attributes on customer programmes.
Developing testing and sign-off procedures for rail pressure control and OBD in vehicle and on engine dyno.

Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related discipline the Calibration Engineer will have an understanding of diesel fuel injection equipment.
Engine and vehicle calibration experience of electronically controlled FIE systems.
Experience using application tools such as ATI Vision, ETAS Inca, AVL Cameo, Concerto or Puma.
Working appreciation of embedded control techniques including being able to follow Matlab Simulink diagrams.

The Calibration Engineer will be required to travel to Europe, North America and the Far East therefore the successful applicant must be willing and able to travel as and when required.

As a degree qualified engineer, and experienced Machining / Production Manager you’ll be responsible for all machining of steel and cast iron components for this major automotive engineering business.

You’ll be responsible for consistent leadership and delivery of product against business objectives, manage budget for business area, team progress and morale, ensuring process & standards compliance.

To succeed as a Production Manager, you’ll possess some or all of the following skills and experiences:
