The World`s largest supplier of essential components and systems for automobiles, including air conditioners, fuel injection systems, alternators, meters and filters among others is looking to recruit a Sales Engineer based in the South East.
Your responsibilities will include:
Management of all Ford related systems necessary to successfully deliver the project (i.e. WERS, eFDVS etc.)
Leadership of on site customer projects and application engineering support.
Engineering specification fix for all applications, through negotiation agreement with the customer / DENSO headquarters / relevant design department at vendor.
Support of communication between customers, and company Headquarters and other related departments such as the QA Department..
Vehicle installation checks and system checks for quality control.
Measurement of engineering data. (i.e. vibration, temperature, etc ).
Hot and cold environment testing support for quality control.
Presentation to customers (of new products, or supplier competitions etc).
Research on new technology and competitors technology in Europe and feedback to DENSO headquarters.
Cost understanding and market price or target price research, and price negotiation.
Regular reporting to the Sales Manager / Assistant Manager about the status of project in which you are involved.
You must be degree qualified, preferably in Engineering or a related field and have experience of Engine Electrical or Powertrain technical sales, with evidence of Application engineering activity / success.
As this job involves frequent travel, you should have an interest in international relations.
