The Manufacturing Engineering System Support Analyst will be a member of the Manufacturing and Assembly System Support Team.Their primary responsibilities are to provide 1st and 2nd line application support to multiple facilities including China.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responding to system incidents and requests from systems users in the factory
Feeding into ITIL problem processes and root-cause analysis
Support implementation of system changes
Working as part of a team of 4 system analysts, but also as part of a wider support team
Work to strict time constraints to ensure smooth running of the production
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential:
Experience in any of the following applications advantageous:
o Oracle Database, Proficient in Oracle and Access SQL, ideally with the ability to understand and debug PL/SQL code.
o Atlas Copco Toolsnet
o Proficient in Microsoft Visual Basic 6, including the ability to understand and debug applications that include Oracle and Access database integration.
o VB .NET
Basic UNIX/LINUX skills, e.g. find, grep and vi and AWK commands for data manipulation purposes
Prior experience IS in manufacturing systems environment is preferable though not essential.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Desirable:
Perl programming / scripting knowledge
Understanding and experience of working to ITIL processes, primarily Incident, Change and Problem.
