Job Requirements
In this role, you'll be reporting to the Technical Manager and working within a small team; the role is primarily an interface with the customer concerning technical matters. It's a varied and challenging role that will encompass customer visits, site liaison and responding to technical questions; the role has come about as one of the current Application Engineers has moved into a sales based role. The aim of the Application Engineering team is to facilitate the application of products (bespoke sealing technology) into the customer’s end product by providing technical advice, suitability of design and advising on potential faults. You'll be regularly liaising with the sales and manufacturing teams in house to make sure they have everything they need; a person with a sales background would be suitable as this would suit an outgoing personality. You must be happy coordinating people and dealing with multiple problems at any one time; the ability to learn a product in paramount as the customers will look to you for guidance. A very varied and fun role that offers a genuine career path.
Details
This is a permanent role with an immediate start; salary to be discussed at submission stage. A market competitive salary is on offer together with a good benefits package.
