The Business Analyst will be a member of the Application Development Team based in Peterborough. Their primary responsibilities will include project management and development of new GIS processes and systems to support all core business processes.

These roles are important to automate all of the electronic data interchange messages, helping to achieve a huge cost reduction in the business by means of efficiency savings. Assisting the business in scoping, analysing, testing and implementation of existing and new business systems.
Responsibility for system solutions (from analysis, design, specification, testing and documentation) exploiting standard MFG/Pro functionality where possible
Working with internal customer groups i.e. different departments and functions - in detailed requirements definition, process development, user test support and user training
Providing 3rd level support to internal customer groups
Working with members of global matrix teams
Follow ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and SOx (Sarbanes Oxley) processes where necessary
Active participation in process improvements with a strong focus and desire to maximise efficiency

QAD MFG/Pro (eB2)

Knowledge of Progress CHAR Version 9
Manufacturing business knowledge
Development methodology principles and Six Sigma techniques
