A global manufacturer of all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles, and electric vehicles, our client is cirrently seeking a Principal Engineer to lead major projects and programmes within powertrain engineering.
The Principal Engineer / Technical Team Leader - Powertrain Design has the following responsibilities:
Management of the new Powertrains and current production Powertrains that they have been allocated. This will include:
- The Design and Engineering technical decision making responsibility for their Product Groups Powertrain units.
- Establishing and maintaining plans in conjunction with Project Management, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to ensure P.D.P. builds and S.O.P. plans are adhered to
- Determine project scope in conjunction with Project Management with respect to operational excellence goals
You will be Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering or equivalent, have related design experience from an O.E.M. Environment, Experience with Pro-Engineer CAD and Ansys Workbench Analysis tool is desired, also professional design experience in the powertrain design categories.
