Principal Engineer - Body & Trim (Vista EV)

Our client is one of the world`s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Established for more than 60 years its product line-up has, more recently, moved into the design and manufacture of passenger cars, including electric vehicles.
Reporting to Lead Engineer
*Manage all resource, budgets and activities carried out by B/W trim team
*Carry out appraisals of body and trim vista team members
*Carry out recruitment for body and trim vista team members
*Support project and senior management reviews
*Takes responsibility for process improvement and communicates to staff at all levels
Capable of managing complex projects
Capable of defining, developing and managing a project autonomously
Degree qualified or similar qualification minimum.
PhD qualification desirable
Strong numeracy and literacy skills
Able to translate business plan into individual objectives for staff
Has managed a group of engineers and/or an acknowledged industry expert in one or more areas
3 - 5 years relevant experience
Minimum of 10 years automotive experience essential
1 week in 4 spent in India depending upon project demands
