Our client is a leading prestige automotive manufacturer who require a Logistics Planner.
Bringing production focus in the initial concept stage of a logistics project.
-Discussing manufacturing issues with the suppliers.
-Logistics process development.
-Coordination of implementation of logistics facilities and processes.
-Integration of logistics issues during launch and series production.
-Implementation of logistics aspects of product changes.
-Collection, study and analysis of relevant data.
-Process modelling to test and prove designed processes.
-Negotiations with partners (supplier, technologies, service providers) to agree scope and requirements.
-Creation and maintenance of project plan, scheduling development activities.
-Co-ordination of delivery requirements to realise process concepts (facilities, training, systems resources, equipment, service contracts).
-Report on status of projects, confirm results of actions.
-Establish process measures to control process and ensure effectiveness.
-Project control and management of complex multi-functional projects/tasks.
-Cost management (future cost impacts).
-Cross-check and alignment to other projects.
-Container planning
Self motivated, analytical and logical.
-Ability for creative thinking.
-Overall knowledge of BIW logistics processes, strategies and concepts.
-General IT Skills (Desktop), Business Process IT Skills.
- Knowledge of Logistics SAP.
