They are looking to appoint to a newly created role for an Operations Manager who will lead and manage an Engineering and Manufacturing/Assembly operation to ensure the timely production of sound cost effective equipment in accordance with customer requirement, ensuring budgets, materials manufacturing requirements and delivery schedules are met.

This role is a unique opportunity for the right individual to contribute to the success and development of a world leading manufacturer of bespoke equipment.
This position will entail international travel, customer interface to ensure products truly meet customer needs, providing high degrees of uptime, reliability, serviceability and maintainability.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified, or equivalent, and ideally have experience in rail or off-road (eg quarry, mining etc) equipment operating in hostile environments, though consideration will also be given to candidates with a good aptitude and propensity to apply existing skills to this arena.
Benefits package will include an attractive salary, profit related bonus paid twice annually together with a contributory pension scheme, 33 days leave per annum and healthcare plan.
