Firmware Developer - Loughborough - 6 months

Are you a firmware developer with experience of real-time embedded control systems? A six month contract opportunity has arisen for someone with knowledge of developing in C language for both 16 bit and ARM platforms along with a good knowledge of Linux.

You will have the ability to diagnose and debug problems using both software and hardware tools and be experienced in the formal design process as well as documentation for firmware development. Knowledge of FPGA programming would be advantageous but not essential.

Again, key responsibilities are;

  • Firmware development – demonstrable history of successful projects
  • Embedded C Development – for both 16 bit and ARM platforms
  • Embedded linux development (ARM platform)
  • Diagnose and debug problems (hardware and software)
  • Documentation
  • FPGA programming
