Supplier Quality Engineer, Ipswich, c. £35k + Car + Benefits, D.O.E.
Our client is a leader in design and manufacture of turf related machinery and associated products.
Due to continued growth they are now seeking to add to the team an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer, or Quality Engineer looking to move into supplier relations
This is a new role to the business and will represent an exciting challenge to the successful person
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all Supplier Quality interactions, issues and performance
- Coordinate all improvement, corrective action and action plans
- Work with New Product development teams using APQP andamp, PPAP processes
- Review capabilities of current and investigate new suppliers when appropriate
- Take ownership of all Supplier Development programmes
- Present regular performance and improvements plans to senior management
