A Vehicle Build Programme Manager with is required to work within Engineering Technical Services on contract for our Client, an OEM specialising in luxury and SUV/Off road vehicles.

The position will be based in the West Midlands.

Positions description:
The Programme manager is expected to plan all aspects of a vehicle build phase and be the main point of contact between the build team and the Vehicle Programme teams. They must liaise with all stake holders including logistics, engineering, instrumentation and the Programme team to ensure that the build can be delivered on time. They are responsible for chairing build readiness events and daily start up reviews and must be capable of managing and leading a team of engineers to deliver on time to the right quality levels. They must work with the wider team to agree resource levels and facility usage and then take full responsibility for managing the vehicle build through to completion.

Experience / education required:
-Good all round vehicle knowledge, Project management skills.
-People management.
-Experience in Prototype vehicle build / launch activities.
-Automotive vehicle build experience, proven project delivery and team leadership experience.
