A Climate Electrical System PMST Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.

Position Description:
Climate Electrical System PMST Engineer

Responsible for ensuring the robust delivery of the Climate Electrical System including HVAC ECU and associated transducers, Auxiliary Heater Control Module, Heated Seat ECUs and Climate Seat ECUs to programme timing.

Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Ability to deliver a complex Engineering System/commodity to a set timeframe. Good communication skills. Ability to generate and understand Engineering Specifications.

Skills Preferred:
Understanding of engineering design quality toolsets/processes - FMEA, Interface Analysis, 6-Sigma.

Details
Experience Required:
Previous experience of delivering complex Engineering systems to a fixed timeframe and budget.

Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of automotive HVAC systems. Experience of specifying/verifying automotive electrical commodities. Knowledge of OEM toolsets and processes - GPDS, eFDVS, AIMS, WERS. Knowledge of Vehicle Multiplex systems - CAN, LIN and associated analysis tools. Knowledge of ECU Diagnostics - Diagnostic protocols and DTCs.

Education Required:
Educated to Degree level or higher in an Engineering discipline.

Education Preferred:
Qualification in an Electrical/Electronic or Software Engineering discipline.
