Installation and Service Technician

Our client is a leading independent provider of product engineering, research, testing information and certification to the worldwide automotive industry and is based in Warwickshire.
To support vehicle build programmes and worldwide field service operations
Vehicle assembly and installation
End of line vehicle test and commissioning (FATS)
Fault find on current and prototype vehicles all issues mechanical and electrical rectify fault
Liaise with engineering design team to ease vehicle build and integration issues.
FSR (Field Service Representative) duties worldwide
Maintain records of work done in the assembly or modification of vehicle
Responsible for own Health and Safety
CandG Automotive maintenance and repair level 1 and 2 or equivalent experience
CandG Automotive maintenance and repair level 3 or equivalent experience
Electrical/electronic NVQ or CandG
Vehicle and mobile unit electro-mechanical installations
Test and commissioning
Electro-mechanical systems fault diagnosis and rectification
Customer facing service and support role
PC literate
Has worked extensively in the automotive / military environment with as broad a range of mechanical / electrical / electronic skills as possible including fault finding and rectification with a good record for on time delivery.
Working with and operating UGV s
12V, 24V and 240V electrical systems
Use of PC based vehicle diagnostic equipment
CAN diagnostics
