NPI Coordinator

£17 - 19 per hour + ?17 - ?19 per hour
The position reports directly to the Tier 4 Product Introduction Team (PIT) manager and will primarily focus on the 1200 Series production Introduction activities particularly in the areas of customer specifications lock down and agreeing delivery commitments with the customers and within the business
Key activities should include:
o Pro-actively ensure that customer engine specifications are locked down in a timely fashion
o Ensure that agreement will be reached with customers on timelines and actively manage timing conflicts
o Maintenance of control documentation to confirm engine readiness for build
o Chair team meetings that are metrics driven and focused on actions
o Work with the extended organization (supply chain, operations) to pro actively identify issues and plans for resolution
o Raise awareness with key stakeholders where bottlenecks occur and when customer deliveries are potentially impacted.
o Work with account managers to prepare and engage in customer communications
o Be involved in the product change management process to prevent late changes that could impact delivery dates and product quality
