Driveline & Industrial Test Engineer

£25k - 30k per year + to 30K + excellent benefits
The Company is a world leader in fluid technologies that improve the quality and performance of their customers` products in the global transportation, industrial and consumer markets. Based at their European Technical centre, they are looking to appoint a Driveline and Industrial Test Engineer responsible for the test generation, planning and scheduling of key Driveline and Industrial testing within the Mechanical Testing Department.
Key Accountabilities:
- To plan and schedule testing within the department ensuring most efficient use of time and resource.
- To provide timely results and reports to the requirements of the customer.
- To understand the needs of the customer and develop new tests to improve test efficiency and differentiation.
- To represent the company and / or the Mechanical Testing department at key industry or internal project meetings.
- To ensure compliance with current legislation and ISO standards with respect to Mechanical Testing
- To interact appropriately with the work group, Engineers and Customers.

Required Skills / Knowledge / Expertise:- Minimum Degree Qualified in a relevant technical discipline.
- Working towards Chartered status.
- Circa 2 - 5 years post graduate professional experience.
- Understanding of automotive driveline technology and / or industrial hydraulic technology is desirable. Understanding of rotating and or reciprocating enines is highly desirable.
- Computer literate - able to use software packages for documentation such as Microsoft Office.
- An awareness of safety legislation, procedures and quality systems.
- Ability to work both in a team and independently under general supervision.
