Our client is a leading independent provider of product engineering, research, testing information and certification to the worldwide automotive industry and is based in Warwickshire.
Organisation of new and running of existing Integrated Logistic Support for military programmes
Role will be expected to be able to set new systems up but still be happy to undertake individual tasks
ILS has been categorized into a number of elements; the list below are the ones which the role will have a direct involvement in:
Logistics support analysis
Reliability centered Maintenance analysis
Level of repair analysis
Supply (Spare part) Support
Codification
Obsolescence management
The following will need to be organised, but the tasks are likely to be sub-contracted:
Training and Training Support
Technical Data / Publications
Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHSandT)
ONC minimum plus essential experience below
BEng
Undertaken role as ILS engineer within project either as a supplier or as a customer covering at least two of the bullet points listed above
Has worked extensively in the military environment in a variety of projects covering a number of the bullet points listed in key functions.
