A HVAC Electrical System Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.

Position Description:
HVAC Electrical System Engineer
Working as part of the Climate Electronics team, responsible for ensuring the robust delivery of the HVAC ECU and associated transducers to programme timing.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Ability to deliver Engineering System commodities to a set timeframe. Good communication skills. Ability to generate and understand Engineering Specifications.
Skills Preferred:
Understanding of engineering design quality toolsets/processes - FMEA, Interface Analysis, 6-Sigma.
Details
Experience Required:
Previous experience of delivering an Engineering commodity to a fixed timeframe and budget.
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of automotive HVAC systems. Experience of specifying/verifying automotive electrical commodities. Knowledge of OEM toolsets and processes - GPDS, eFDVS, AIMS, WERS. Knowledge of Vehicle Multiplex systems - CAN, LIN and associated analysis tools. Knowledge of ECU Diagnostics - Diagnostic protocols and DTCs.
Education Required:
Educated to a minimum of HNC level (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline.
Education Preferred:
Qualification in an Electrical/Electronic or Software Engineering discipline.
