A Hybrid Modelling / Controls Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Position Description:
Our client’s Hybrid Department are looking to recruit an accomplished Modelling / Controls Engineer, with experience of interpreting complex control systems into simple models, in the Matlab/Simulink environment.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Control system design experience is vital, as well as using model-based development. Substantial experience with Matlab/Simulink. Degree qualified (preferably in an engineering discipline). A strong understanding of physical laws and their mathematical representations. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Self-motivated and able to work consistently and productively whilst under pressure, often with competing priorities.

Experience Required:
Automotive development experience. Experience in the development of hybrid vehicle technologies. Experience of real-time hardware.
