A Project Management and Planning Analyst is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Essex.

Description
A vacancy has arisen in the Advanced Product Group (APG) for an analyst with advanced planning, project management and business analysis responsibilities. APG leads the Annual Process which is the corporate strategic planning process. Each year, this identifies the key business issues and priorities to meet the future challenges and developing plans, proposals and recommendations for potential future product plan inclusion.

Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Product Planning, Project Management, Business or Engineering background. Excellent analytical, database, presentation and communication skills (oral and written).

Skills Preferred:
Good team player. Enthusiastic and flexible, to drive cross-functional problem solving.

Details
Experience Required:
Strategic planning; including consolidation and prioritization of strategic issues and market needs. Graphical and statistical data analysis of complex databases to prepare status reports and presentations to support review at senior management meetings. Outline business case analysis for new product or technology proposals. Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g. Planning, Marketing, Finance, Engineering) to drive delivery of key studies supporting Annual Process outputs.

Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of our client’s product development processes and databases would be beneficial.

Education Required:
Candidates must be educated to degree level or above.

Education Preferred:
MBa in a relevant field or subject is desirable, but not essential.
