A PMST Leader – Telematics Systems is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Whitley, West Midlands.
Description
The PMST leader will be responsible for the introduction of a telematics system into 14MY vehicles. Duties will include but not limited to: Developing and maintaining a timing plan in conjunction with the suppliers and stakeholders to deliver the telematics feature in line with the vehicle timing. Documentation of all processes involved in the delivery of telematics into the vehicle programmes, manufacturing and service. Project and supplier manage of the tier 1 supplier to ensure cost, quality and timing are achieved. Releasing of parts into the production systems. Managing issues and their respective resolution and glidepath - with the use of quality tools such as Fault Tree Analysis, Global 8D, FMEA.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Project management skills essential. Knowledge of issue management and component release processes essential. Knowledge and application of quality and problem solving tools essential. Knowledge of MOST/CAN based infotainment systems desirable.

Experience Required:
Previous Project Management and leadership behaviours essential. Proven delivery performance essential.
Education Required:
Minimum HNC / HND qualified in a related engineering subject.
