Our clients is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of medicines and pharmaceutical products, and due to their impressive expansion plans are now looking to recruit a CandI Engineer / Electronics to join their team.

Please note this is 12hr continetal day shift position To provide the Electronics, Control and Instrumentation input to site equipment projects and develop/ implement appropriate processes to control the effective operation of plc- dependant equipment across the site, thereby ensuing compliance with standards suitable for a sterile manufacturing business, reliability and fitness for purpose.
- To optimise performance of computer controlled equipment based on maintenance records and documented observations.
- To achieve project plans by defining Software, Control, Instrumentation and Electrical requirements for projects.
- To review, improve and approve operation and maintenance procedures (together with associated records) for electronic and computer controlled equipment.
- To participate in the Risk Assessment/ Reduction programme for electronic and PLC based equipment on site.
- To encourage the development of electronic and CandI systems to improve reliability and operability
- Good knowledge of plc systems, electronics and CandI
- Good understanding of electronics, fault finding techniques and system interrogation
- Able to discern appropriate skills needed from other experts
- Able to close loop and interface with correct business expert
- Able to translate key aspects of operation and control into clear operating procedures
- Some appreciation of CSV
- Mechanical and technical know how
- Influencing, good communicator,
- Thinks from 1st principles, proactive
- Probing asks to seek understanding
- Professional interface with equipment suppliers
- Ownership/ accountability for systems under control
