The world s leading manufacturer of automotive driveline components, with over 20,000 people in more than 40 facilities in over 20 countries working in partnership with vehicle manufacturers to develop driveshaft and geared component technologies for the future. They are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer able to draw up capital investment papers.
To ensure improvement plans and results are regularly communicated to Chief Engineer and that individuals receive timely feedback on suggestion implementation.
To promote and support the application of Lean Enterprise principles and create and manage plans to apply these across the BU.
To identify improvement opportunities in all aspects of the BU operation, prioritise these and manage their realisation in a structured improvement program.
To actively lead and participate in lean improvements based on the 6 enablers.

Support a safe working environment, considering company procedures and current legislation
Produce and expedite Capital Expenditure Justifications including evaluation, analysis and execution
Produce and expedite Capacity Analysis documentation for designated Factory, including Capacity conformation after execution including cycle times, tip change times, changeover times etc. Ensure that work combination tables and standard operation sheets are in place and are in line with lean enterprise requirements
Co-Ordinate Quality responses within department including, co-ordination of designated team, QIP creation / execution
