A Fluid Flow & Heat Transfer CAE Analyst is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.
Description
Required to provide fluid flow & heat transfer analysis of a variety of powertrain components and systems using proprietary software tools. Required to be fully competent in using STAR CCM+ for analysis of engine/powertrain components and systems. Fundamental knowledge of powertrain systems.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Construction of CFD models from CAD geometry using OEM toolset e.g.: Star CCM+ / Catia V5 Report Writing.
Skills Preferred:
CAD Proficient.
Details
Experience Required:
Proven track record in CFD analysis of Powertrain systems.
Experience Preferred:
Experience using StarCD and programming skills (e.g. Java, Fortan and Matlab etc).
Education Required:
Degree/Post Doctorate in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
