Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Oxford, Oxfordshire, England
£20 per hour

Our client is a leading prestige automotive manufacturer, based in Oxford and they are currently seeking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer on a 6 month temporary contract basis.

Key accountabilities to include:

* Perform all Project/Maintenance Engineer activities in Mechanical disciplines on Buildings, Facilities infrastructure, Systems, Plant, Equipment and Assets.
* Projects ranging from small works to complex comprehensive installations.
* Co-ordinate Project activities at applicable sites with support as necessary from internal representatives
* Control Facility Design Requests (FDR"s) across the site(s).
* Deliver Projects within Quality (specification), time and cost targets.
* Ensure Legislation and Regulation requirements are adhered to in all Project Facilities Management activities.
* Recognise and follow BMW processes.
* Options identification, evaluation and proposal justification on all Project requirements.
* Coordination of Project activities to ensure no disruption to customer processes.
* Thorough communication and documentation


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

* Recognised engineering apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent, or ability to demonstrate good knowledge and experience.
* Recognised training accreditation for Mechanical Engineering disciplines.
* Knowledge of Technical, HandS and Environmental Legislation.
* Competence in the process of options identification, evaluation and proposal justification.
* Experience with performance measures and audits.
* Experience and ability to communicate with customers
* Experience and ability to negotiate with internal and external bodies.
* Experience and ability to prioritise and manage own time.
* Self motivated and autonomous
