Skilled CNC Machinist - Day Shift (35 hours per week)

Located in West Yorkshire, our client is part of a British engineering group globally employing over 2,000 people in the UK and sixteen other countries. This highly regarded precision engineering business uses lean methods to manufacture high-value metal products - mainly for the heavy couplings and power transmission sectors.
Job Purpose
To set/program and operate CNC Lathes and VMC"s
You will ideally be an apprentice trained Mechanical Engineer with the ability to program FANUC controlled machines.
It would be beneficial to have:
Experience with large components
Vertical lathe experience
Vertical machining centre experience
Crane experience
Slinging experience
Manual machine experience (VTL"s, vertical borers, jig borers)
Rate of Pay: £12.20 (at 100%)
0-6 months - 95%
6-12 months - 97.5%
12 months - 100%
