Description. This company manufactures a range of unique products and assemblies for the international market place. They have a requirement for an experienced stress analyst/engineer on a variety of new and existing projects.
Job Requirements
You will work as part of a team, specific areas will include stress analysis of a motor structure which consists of a pressure vessel. Stress analysis of specialist tooling is also conducted covering all stages of manufacture, assembly and test. Both traditional analytical and advanced finite elements stressing methods (eg Abaqus) are used to determine failure modes, failure loads and safety factors.
You will have a degree in a mathematics or engineering subject and have good FE and hand calcs experience. Due to the defence nature of the work you will be a British national or a European who has lived in Britain for 3 years or more.
