We are working with a leading 1st Tier Automotive supplier in Coventry; they are becoming increasingly busy and August looks set to hit peak production. They have experienced a steady growth over this year and are looking for a Process Engineer to implement new ideas and manage the current processes with a view to make them more streamlined and productive.

They are looking for a process driven engineer who has implemented methodologies in a similar role within the automotive sector.  The implementation experience is essential as they will be looking for you to use previous experience to work towards TS accreditation among other things.

This role is heavily based upon the updating and maintaining of PFMEA’s, process flow charts, scrap reduction (7W) and RCA; some of the role will be in relation to NPI so it is essential you feel comfortable with bringing new products through the early stages to production.

There is no direct management responsibility although emphasis will be placed on you to take ownership of the production area with which you work and adopt procedures to make the area more productive and more effective. It’s a very hands on role that would suit a person who has worked on the shopfloor beforehand; you must be an organised and proactive personality type as you will also be responsible for the appropriate documentation.
