Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of Aerostructures for both civil and military Aerospace markets, and they are currently recruiting for a Project Manager-Buildings & Infrastructure Refurbishment to lead and manage the refurbishment of factory buildings and associated infrastructure and utilities at one of their largest sites.
The Project Manager-Buildings & Infrastructure Refurbishment will be responsible for the management of the project, engaging with on-site maintenance, EHS and Production teams to ensure continuity of business, in addition to employing sub-contract companies to carry out the necessary tasks to complete the facilities. They will ensure that all work complies with current Building, Health, Safety and Environmental regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.
They will negotiate work scope and schedules with internal and external customers, ensuring stakeholders are informed of project progress, manage technical requirements, identify and drive down project risks, oversee the company's Management of Change process, and take responsibility for control of project budgets.
Applicants should be Degree-qualified in Civil engineering and possess significant leadership experience in industrial scale facilities, ideally within the Aerospace sector. A knowledge of CDM co-ordination and a familiarity with composite manufacturing facilities would also be an advantage. They must be proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint and have outstanding communication skills.
