Application Engineer – Automotive – Permanent – Basildon

Are you a degree qualified application engineer with experience of the automotive industry?
Do you have excellent computing skills with automotive specific tools such as ‘CAN’ and calibration tools such as ATI Vision along with a fundamental
knowledge of the internal combustion engine?

A Basildon based company are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with experience in high speed electric machine design and operation with experience of powertrain development and control for a new permanent opportunity with them.

You must have experience of;

    Project planning and coordination – preferably using MS Project
    Mechanical and electrical fabrication and installation Using CCP compliant calibration tools such as ATI vision
    Requirements management tools, i.e. DOORS

It is highly desirable that you have a working knowledge of powertrain and vehicle systems simulation. As part of this Application Engineer role, you will provide first level support to the customer regarding all questions regarding component and systems integration.

You will provide on-site customer engineering support and the testing and measurement of system parameters.
