The Stress Engineer role activities will include hand and computer aided detailed strength, stiffness and fatigue and damage tolerance analysis of aircraft structures. Also, finite element use for static/dynamic loads Patran and Nastran FEA software.
You must have a good understanding of static stress analysis methods and an understanding of fatigue and damage tolerance would be an advantage. You must have exerience of primary and secondary aircraft structures.
