Material Planner required on a 6-month contract for our client based in Durham who designs and manufactures articulated dumper trucks for the quarry and construction sector worldwide. Employing 700 people in the North East, the business is undergoing significant investment in manufacturing processes and office facilities.

A Material Planner is required within Manufacturing Logistics, a team based business which is growing rapidly. You will have experience in:
- Ensure that material requirements are scheduled for delivery from suppliers in a quantity and on a date to support our service to customers
- Ensure that deliveries take place on the correct date, in the correct containers, in the quantity specified.
- Take a role within the material planning area
- Initiate, co-ordinate and participate in activities to ensure optimum inventory levels
- Control inventory levels for outgoing parts to eliminate RSSM costs
- Perform all tasks to sustain CPS Performance levels
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in Logistics
- Knowledge of Glovia and MRP systems would be an advantage
- PC skills are essential
- Ability to work well in a team environment
