Maintenance Electrician required on a permanent contract for a major regional Water company based in Warwickshire.

The role focuses on ensuring the operation of a Wastewater Treatment plant in the safest and most effective way, including the maintenance, repair, and calibration of Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation equipment to optimise both reliability and efficiency.

Candidates must have experience of:

- Maintain and repair process control loops for pump control and chemical dosing.
- Carrying out the repair and maintenance of electrical motor drive systems and associated control systems including Inverter drives and basic motor starting.
- Fault diagnostics, repair and modification of programmable logic controllers and ladder logic.
- Maintenance, repair and calibration of all types of Instrumentation including pressure / temperature transducers, probes and multiple types of flow and depth technology.
- Installing and maintaining Instrumentation and Electrical equipment.
- Working with industrial equipment (motors, starters, invertors etc.)
- Working with process control style Instrumentation and Control technology.
- Working knowledge of PLC Control and SCADA systems.
- Familiar with basic electrical installation requirements and standards.

Applicants must be educated to BTEC, HNC, City Guilds or equivalent qualification in related subject area along with NVQ level 3 or equivalent in related subject area, Time Served Apprenticeship Electrical / Mechanical and 17th edition Electrical Regulations. Those Electricians who only possess domestic/residential experience need not apply.

Candidates must have worked at an automated industrial plant, though prior knowledge of Water Treatment would also be advantageous.
