Senior "Electric Motor product support" Engineer - Automotive - Birmingham - £Excellent and supporting benefits.
A Senior (+5 years' experience) Engineer is required with experience in the development of high-performance Brushless Electric Motor drive units ideally with applications concerning Electric Power Steering. Other key experience is required in the design of Electric Steering Systems requiring "safety-critical servo-drives" and electric motor design, segmented stator assemblies, sensor-less control combined with advanced noise reduction.
This is for the World's leading EPS (Electric Power Steering) and EHPS (Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering) RandD and Mfg company who wishes to remain at the cutting edge of its specialism. The role is Permanent in nature and based in Birmingham. This role required owing to the company's current order book, recently won Projects and as a result of an onward direction towards improved and safer products. Candidates must be eligible for work in the UK and possess a UK Driving Licence, and a Degree in an Electro-Mechanical Engineering discipline.
You must have experience with the following to be considered for interview,
- The design or Electric Motors or Drives (Rotating equipment)
- Automotive Component Mfg in a high volume environment
- Mfg processes and Automotive industry QA philosophies
- Electro-Mechanical Automotive systems
