Product Office Engineer required for a dynamic company within the engineering field of consolidated public transport infrastructure and specialist engineering solutions, providing leading public transport hardware through continued, innovation design and technology.

The company has a full order book and is expanding, to support this expansion a Production Office Engineer is being sought.

This is an immediate opportunity and is available now for a suitably qualified candidate. The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Production Management department with a range of pre-production planning activities and will ideally have a gained knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement engineering.

Candidates should have experience in the following areas:-
* Degree/HNC In Mechanical/Production Engineering.
* Lean training / Six Sigma knowledge.
* Ideally sheet metal/fabrication manufacturing background.
* Commercially astute
* Able to work to tight deadlines in a batch or short run environment.

This post would suit either a person seeking to further a career in the practice of Lean /Continuous Improvement techniques with expertise gained in a sheet metal /fabrications manufacturing environment, or an engineer looking for a training opportunity who can demonstrate a practical application of best practice into a batch manufacturing operation.

Typically candidates must have gained knowledge of data analysis, production scheduling, production output monitoring and have some MRP data input expertise. The company is based in Hayes, Greater London and is closely situated to the M4/M25/M40 and has a tube station within walking distance.
