One of the Worlds leading producers of high quality bronzes, brasses and special alloys is currently seeking to recruit a Metallurgist.
The company:
Established over 100 ago our client offers a full range of both cast and wrought products in the form of continuous castings, extruded, forged and hot rolled products, in a wide range of shapes including rounds, hexagons, squares, rectangles, discs, rings and hollows for all applications.
The Role:
Principal Responsibilities
Oversee all technical aspects relating to the operation of the Laboratory function.
Advise Sales and Production on all technical aspects relating to the acceptance and execution of orders.
Assist customers with technical aspects relating to the selection, use and treatment of the company's products.
Person Specification:
Good interpersonal skills,highly numerate with good planning and organisational skills.
Able to multi-task, be skilled and confident with IT and Microsoft Office Software.
Customer Focused with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with attention to detail. Must be confident and professional and capable to work on your own iniative.
