Have you worked within an engineering Quality Role?

An opportunity has arisen for an Optical Quality Leader who is required to facilitate delivery of a vehicle to ensure it meets its quality targets.

This role will be on a contract basis attracting a rate of 23.94GBP per hour and be based in Gaydon the West Midlands.

In this role you will be required to;
• Organising and running daily Optical Quality review meetings involving personnel from Product Development, Perceived Quality, Design, Dimensional Variation Analysis and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.
• Leading the resolution of Optical Quality issues by liaising with teams.
• Provide solutions for improved visual quality.
• Regular reporting of programme Optical Quality status / progress by issuing written status and by presenting in review forums.
• Specification of adjustable models to assist with buy-off of engineering.

You would have experience in;
• Leading optical quality for automotive vehicles.
• Ability to integrate cad data.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes ideally has worked with automotive body components.
• Have used visualisation  tools such as Vis mock-up and Digital buck.
• Programme or project management within the automotive sector.

If you have a background within a Quality manufacturing role and worked on body components you will be of particular interest to the client. Iwould also be interested in you if you have a Quality background, able to read CAD data and have used Vis  Mock-up and digital buck.
