Our client is one of the world`s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Established for more than 60 years its product line-up has, more recently, moved into the design and manufacture of passenger cars, including electric vehicles.

Our client a world class manufacturer of automotive components and integrated modules is currently looking for a highly skilled Principle Engineer to support new project activities within their Electrical and Electronics division.

The main duties will involve:
- Technical lead for electrical packaging activities, focusing on Wire Harness, EDS and integrated vehicle electronics.
- Define technical requirements for all aspects of electrical packaging
- Technical lead for EDS circuit design and simulation activities for the project
- Co-ordinate 2D and 3D CAD Engineers involved in the layout of vehicle harnesses
- Define technical requirements for all aspects of circuit design and simulation
