Subcontract\Commercial Manager - The programme is a very dynamic, joint programme office information technology-focused effort with multiple subcontractors supporting an operational, mission critical project. Projects on the program typically take the form of Task Orders, which cover a wide range of budget, duration, scope, technology, and product types.

To provide subject matter advice and guidance and be responsible for leading all aspects of Major Subcontracts and new business opportunities within the ISandGS, Security, Global Programmes Division, TCP program. Flexibility and organisation are critical traits for the successful candidate, as the position calls for a broad spectrum of skills. To interface with programme management leads, senior leadership and act as an external spokesperson for the organisation. You should be considered an expert in UK acquisition regulations.
Required Skills: Expert in negotiations with suppliers. Self starter and able to work independently. Emerging expert in acquisition of technical services and equipment.

Desired Skills: Understanding of industry and company practices in Supply Chain Management. Knowledge of UK Acquisition Procedures and Company procurement systems such as OHM or SAP.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as an ability to analyse and present data. A self starter and highly motivated. The position requires excellent organizational skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to interface with suppliers and internal customers. Strong interpersonal skills, and be a flexible team player. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Power Point, Excel), with the ability to learn software applications required to perform subcontract administration duties.
