A Test Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.
Description
Position Description:
To provide support for the ZF transmission calibration team of 11. Types of duties to be performed:
•Scheduling car repairs/reworks
•Diagnosing trans faults
•Re-flashing other fleet cars
•Organising sign-off drive events
•Provide logistical support when transporting cars/parts/people.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
INCA experience required. Must be able to manage own time and plan ahead. Knowledge of automotive elect system preferred. Excellent communication skills. Good PC skills including Microsoft Office. Full UK driving licence & meet medical requirements of testing in OEM facilities.
Details
Experience Required:
Must be familiar with automotive test environment - includes workshops.
Experience Preferred:
Experience of working in an engineering environment. Technical understanding of the powertrain & transmission systems would be useful.
